National Association of Christian Ministers

New Horizons Church UK

is Now a member of the

NACM

Jesus said, "All authority is given to Me in Heaven and in earth. Therefore go and teach all nations...to observe all things, whatsoever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the world" (Mat 28:18-20, MKJV).

Mission Statement

The National Association of Christian Ministers is an interdenominational network of believers. Our purpose is to see Christians take the message of hope in Christ to the world.

Strategy: After prayer and consideration, our ministry is to:

1) Mentor and License Ministers

2) Develop Leaders

3) Charter Ministries in Accountability

4) Network Believers

As a ministry we offer these services for free.                                       Jesus said, "You have received freely, freely give" (Mat 10:8, MKJV).

"Give me one hundred preachers who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God, and I care not whether they be clergymen or laymen, they alone will shake the gates of Hell and set up the kingdom of Heaven upon Earth."             John Wesley

Philosophy of Our Ministry

The NACM believes that Jesus is the Head of the Church:

“Christ is the head of the church. It is his body, and he is its Savior” (Eph 5:23, GW).

The “church” has been called a lot of things: believers, buildings, Baptists, Methodist, denominations, etc.  All of these describe the church in one way or another; however, we believe that Jesus must be the ruler of His people.  We believe that God’s called ministers know the vision that He has given them for ministry -better than anyone else.  For this reason all NACM affiliates (members, ministers, elders, etc.) are given the sovereignty of being independent ministers, representatives of Jesus.  The quality of being "independent" allows affiliates the freedom to be governed by God's authority, instead of the NACM.

Here are a few reasons why people come to our association:

Some join because they feel called of God to serve Him as a lay or even a professional minister, pastor, evangelist, small group leader etc. and they need ordination  to accomplish this work.  Many hospitals, nursing homes, jails, and shelters require ministers to be ordained before they are permitted to minister to their people.  Also, many U.S. states require licensing before ministers are permitted to perform marriages and funerals.  We desire to help these people answer God's calling on their lives.

We make Christian ordination and licensing available to qualifying applicants who:

1) Confess the Christian faith.
2) Meet our high ethical standards.
3) Demonstrate a sincere call of God for ministry.
4) Pass the interviewing of an elder (including an internet, and sex offender registry check).

Accountability

Some connect with us because they desire to start an independent or non-denominational church or ministry.  However, because they are not affiliated with a denomination they need their church or ministry recognized by another Christian association for accountability.  We allow such to maintain their independence while partnering in accountability with them.

 ______________________________________________________________________________ Mentor Program

Another reason many come to our network is because we offer an exceptional Mentor Program for ministers.  This course of learning is designed to develop quality ministers and leaders for the cause of Christ through training, interaction, personal development, and internships.  Those who complete this program gain valuable experience, and may request a letter of reference from our organization's president on behalf of the NACM.

____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Carry the Vision

Many already ordained ministers unite with to help carry the vision. These people understand the need for ministers and desire to take part in developing people into ministers equipped with the Gospel of Christ.

"The simplest peasant, armed with the Gospel, is mightier than the Pope". -Martin Luther
