MY TESTIMONY
Dilliram Basnet
I would like to pour out something about me. In the year 1976, I was born to a devout Hindu Basnet (Kchatriya) family in the extreme east part of Nepal. The Basnet are a proud high class Hindu community in Nepal, and totally committed to their beliefs, culture and traditions. My parents are also as other devout Hindus who faithfully worship at the Temple, participate in all sorts of Hindus festivals and strived to bring up them. This is what, I grew up in my past days or years.
Eventually, my parents shifted from Northern east Nepal (Taplejung district) to the Southern part of east Nepal (Morang district). They continued to be devout practicing Hindus faith. But, during my teen years, I got a sickness because of that I was really upset of my own life before this sickness, I used to go at Temple to worship at the Temple. But gods didn't hear me and didn't give me peace and joy in my life. Later on, sake of family, I did occasionally visit at temple, moreover please my parents and share in the religious fun and festivals than for anything else. Instead of my pain and sorrow, I loved my religion and was proud of being a Hindu. There was a deep reason for me to "live life and enjoy as much as more that's all".
In the year 1999, I came for my secular study in Kathmandu. Program name called Bachelor of Art with grip something great in life. At that time, I already began to drink a lot not having care for my own life. Really, my body had become enslave to many a bad habits. Peace of mind was far away to find in my life. My life was somewhere in the black corner yet I didn't share my pain and sorrow, just carried them. During at that time I was working in a computer institute hence, I met miraculous Rev. Hanok and he suggest me to come at Church I did come after coming Church some of the elders and deacons came and share gospel to me and in that service after I came back to my room and ponder about Church happening. Though, I didn't know how to pray yet just I said to God. I am heard Jesus is the true and alone God, if it is than why don't you heal and give peace and joy in my life. At the same very movement night, I felt God is speaking, shaking, comforting to me. Really, I scare of many things and moreover, thus far I ever consider I am a sinner. I felt a deep conviction of sin in life. I deeply repented and committed my life to the Lord and I accepted Jesus as my personal saviour at the end of the 2001. After that regularly began to attend Aradhana church Though Christian faith and maturity has not been easy, being a Christian also brought about much ridicule amongst family, community and friends areas or circles. But to me, life become more joy and richer than past. Moreover getting to know and love the Lord and serve him that ecstasy is not comparable with anything. Well, God gave me way to serve him for HIS eternal Kingdom as a computer institute which name called Dorcas computer institute it is ran by our own Church. In the beginning of the 2003, I got the Baptism from my respected Pastor Hanok so it was really great joy for me and I had a deep my heart to do the systematically study of word of God and I prayed for that. Though, I didn't share with anyone except God thereby I believed it was God's plane in my life thereby God heard my prayer and he answered in this way. One night my Pastor asked me. Would you like to go to the Bible College though I hesitated because it was like an accident hence I said, yes I would.
Therefore, Grace of God, God given previous ministry and went to Bible College in middle of the 03. During my study God met my all expenses Church. AND I completed my Bachelor of Theology degree course successfully with the fulfilling the entire requirement from the sought India College name call (NILGIRIS INSTITUTE OF CHRISTIAN STUDIES) at Ooty in the year of 2006.
I would like to serve the Lord from the bottom of my heart, authentically, relevantly, creatively and contextually by FAITH so I pray to God that helps me to build and rise a new generation for his kingdom. Thereby, I am desperately seeking HIS will to serve him for HIS own name sake. Now, I work in an office and a part of it. God has been helping me to know and minister with many pastors and leaders in Nepal Though we have numerous needs in challenges in ministry. Yet, ministry is tremendously growing. Especially our pastor Udhab Singh Tamang is doing great. God has winning many souls though him. Pastor Udhab is financially really struggling because ministry is growing. Please pray for them. I pray that let God help me to do His fulltime service. As I mention above. May the good God bless and use us abundantly!

· To come bringing unity among Christian Churches in Nepal.
· Our vision to encourage the key young leaders with hearts of integrity to become church planters.
· Our vision is to extend our helping hands to the needy, weak, and the destitute in community.
